Backstory writer for WoW Forever roleplayers
Pick your character's race and class (every pair the WoW Forever client allows, Skyborne included), a name if you have one, where they're from, your ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying or Roleplay-PvP), a tone and a length, and say what you're aiming for. ForeverDB's story generator writes a backstory that fits WoW Forever's Year 1, with no AI, from our own story parts and lore library, with three roleplay hooks other players can pick up, and lists the lore it drew on.

What does the backstory writer use?
No AI. ForeverDB's own story generator puts the story together on our server from nearly 600 story parts we wrote for each race, class and tone, checked against our lore pages: where they grew up, what shaped them, their calling, their people in Year 1, and the war on the PvP rulesets. It favours parts that match what you type, and names a quest giver from your homeland out of our lore library (the Forever client's own text, Blizzard's posts about Forever, our lore pages and Classic's quests). It keeps to Year 1: no Outland, no Northrend and no later leaders.
What can I tell it about my character?
Your idea for the character, their personality, what drives them, a secret or flaw, how you'll play them (casual roleplay, a guild's stories, PvP and the war, or quests and dungeons) and anything else. All optional: the more you say, the more the story is yours.
Is the story canon?
No. It's a starting point. Read it through, change what you like, and check names and places against the lore pages before you use it in game.
How many can I write?
As many as you like, free and without an account. Write another version mixes the parts differently each time. Stories are in English for now.
Is what I type kept?
No. The story is put together on our server and sent back to your page; the name, your answers, the notes and the story aren't stored or sent anywhere else.
