- This week in Forever: a new roundup every Friday : The week's most important news and its most-watched clips, on one page. Press Play them all to watch the clips back to back. They're the creators' own videos, playing in YouTube's player, so the creators keep the views. A new issue comes out every Friday evening, and earlier weeks stay on the page.
- Trainers page: Forever's own class trainers are in : We checked Blizzard's November 5 hotfixes against the site. The Trainers page only listed Classic's trainers, so Forever's own were missing, including Zephras Isle's and the Forsaken's Paladin trainers. They're in now, with where players saw them, and the addon's nearest trainer tip gets them with its next data update. The races page also has Blizzard's new rule for Plainsrunning in battlegrounds.
- ForeverDB 0.57.0: a better check for gold spam and bots : The addon's bot check now keeps looking at players who stay on screen, spots gold adverts in seven more languages, and counts a long message sent word for word by three or more players, whatever it says. It also reads emotes, the subject of letters from strangers and the names in their guild and chat channel invites. Every install can now add its day's numbers to the gold-seller tracker, not only players with the Uploader. Names, messages and websites stay out of that. Update on CurseForge or Wago, or from the addon page.
- ForeverDB 0.56.2: a new waypoint arrow and tooltips that say what's true : The addon's waypoint arrow is new: a solid 3D arrow with one head and a square tail, green when you're heading for the spot, yellow when it's to the side and red when it's behind you. In the Leveling window the level ring is smooth, the compass arrow turns towards your step, and you can drag the window from anywhere on it. Vendor tooltips now count everything a vendor sells, rewards from Forever quests no longer say "(Classic)", the loot browser shows the same chances as the dungeon pages, and all the herb and ore spots players found are in. Update on CurseForge or Wago, or from the addon page.
- We checked all our data against the game and fixed what was wrong : We went through every part of the site's data and checked it against the WoW Forever client and Blizzard's posts: items, spells and talents, quests and NPCs, dungeons and best in slot, professions, the world map, change tracking, the simulator, the API and the written guides. We found 112 mistakes and fixed them, from Hunter spells showing a cast time of -1000 sec to Season of Discovery gear in the best in slot lists and class guides that still recommended removed abilities. Every one is on the corrections log with what was wrong, why and what we changed. The addon's fixes are in version 0.56.2.
