Live on your realm
What is happening on your WoW Forever realm right now, in one page. Pick your realm once and the page remembers it, then refreshes every 2 minutes while it is open.
What it shows
- Rares up now: rares killed or seen alive on your realm, how long ago, and when each one should be back. Respawn times are learned from the gaps between kills on the realm; until there are enough, Classic's timer is shown, labelled Speculation.
- Busy and quiet zones: where ForeverDB players on the realm are now, shown only as Quiet, Some players, Busy or Very busy, never as numbers or by faction, and later on PvP and Hardcore realms.
- Dungeon demand now: which dungeons and raids people want groups or players for, from the ForeverDB group finder and the Discord bot, without names.
- Auction movers today: the biggest price changes on the realm's auction houses, from prices two or more players' addon scans agree on.
- Server events: realm restarts and outages, from our own check every minute and from many players being disconnected at the same moment.
- Gathering: zones where herbs and ore were picked recently and when they are likely back, at least 30 minutes late and by zone only.
Where it comes from
Players who turn on Live in the ForeverDB Uploader send a small summary every 5 minutes while they play: the realm, the zone they are in, and rare kills read from their own combat log. The ForeverDB addon adds rare sightings when they log out. Every number on the page says where it comes from and how old it is.
Live needs ForeverDB users on each realm. In the beta there are few, so parts of the page stay empty until more players turn Live on; the page says how many it has seen in the last hour.
What it never shares
No player names, character IDs or player positions leave your PC. Rare kill times are rounded to 5 minutes. Zones show only once a realm has enough Live users. Privacy policy
