ForeverDB Discord bot
The WoW Forever database in your Discord server. Look up items, spells, quests, NPCs, dungeons, bosses, mounts and talents with cards that look like the game's tooltips, ask questions in your own words, show armory characters, and get ForeverDB's news in a channel. Every answer comes from ForeverDB's own data, labelled the way the site labels it: Forever client, Seen in Forever, Classic data or Speculation. It's free.
The bot opens to every server soon: this page gets its Add to Discord button then.

/lfg list shows open posts with who to whisper, and /lfg subscribe shows new posts in a channel.
Guild events with sign-up buttons
Link your guild's guild tools calendar to a channel with
/guild link (a code from guild tools): each new event is posted with the sign-ups by role and Accept, Tentative, Late, Bench and Absent
buttons, kept up to date as people sign up, with reminders from the bot. Members link their Discord account once with /link, and
/event list shows the next events, with a gear check summary for officers.
News in a channel
/news subscribe posts new ForeverDB articles, Blizzard's official posts from the
blue tracker and new finds in the game files to the channel you pick, as they're
published. Choose which of the three you want; /news list shows the channels and /news unsubscribe stops them.
Only members with the Manage Server permission can change it.
Privacy
- The bot reads only its own commands. It never reads your server's messages.
- For news subscriptions it stores the server's and the channel's IDs and which news you picked. Nothing about members.
- Questions asked with
/askare kept like Ask ForeverDB's questions on the site, without your Discord name or ID. The daily limit uses a salted one-way code of your Discord ID and the day. /characteronly shows characters their owners made public on the armory.- The full details are in the privacy policy.
