How to pick a class in WoW Forever
WoW Forever has nine classes, and every one can level, run dungeons and fight in PvP. What matters most is the role you want in a group (tank, healer or damage), how you like to fight, and what you enjoy looking at for hundreds of hours. Your race adds racials: Forever reworked every race's racials, and six race and class pairs are new, plus the Skyborne, a new race on both factions.

How the score works
Each answer adds points to each spec: +6 when its role is yours (-4 when it isn't), +3 for how it fights, +3 for the resource it spends, +4 for its look, +4 for a pet when you want one, +3 when it has as many buttons as you like, and tanks +4 and healers +3 when getting into groups quickly matters and that is the role you picked. Leveling, PvP and gold farming add ForeverDB's judgement in the table. Specs that play the role you picked always come first, and the best spec of each of the three best classes is your result. Races: each racial counts by what it does for that spec and by how big it is (a 1% haste racial counts a tenth of a 10% one), for your PvP interest, leveling alone and gold; a race's best four racials count, plus our race picks.
Speculation The weights and the race picks are ForeverDB's judgement, not game data. Roles, resources, pets, abilities by level 30, which races can be which class and every racial come from the Forever beta client. At level 30 you have 21 talent points, so each spec's 31-point talent (level 40) is above the current cap.
