High Order Skyborne Druid: your first 10 levels
Updated · ForeverDB
A gentle start for a High Order Skyborne Druid in WoW Forever: where your trainer stands in Thendal Village, your spells up to level 10, your class quests, the racials that help and the best professions.
Written for the WoW Forever beta, for your first 10 levels. Where each person stands comes from what players recorded in WoW Forever wherever we have it. Anything else is marked: "Classic data" means the spot comes from the original game and may have moved in Forever.
Right now
Welcome! You're a High Order Skyborne Druid, and you start in Thendal Village. Here are the three things you need first. Take your time: nothing here is in a rush.
- You appear at 42.8, 23.4 in Thendal Village.
- Your first quest: talk to Ailee Farheart (42.8, 23.4), next to where you appear.
- Your Druid trainer is Xyton Silverwind. Players' game data has their name, but nobody has mapped where they stand yet. Our best guess is near Tai'ree Farsight; a guard can point you there too.
Tip: If you die, that's fine: everyone does. Click Release Spirit, run back to your body as a ghost, and carry on. Fight one enemy at a time and eat or drink between fights.
Playing a Druid at first
You're a shapeshifter and a nature caster. Early on you cast nature spells and heal yourself, and at level 10 you learn to turn into a bear. You use mana.
- Cast Wrath at an enemy from a distance.
- Heal yourself with Healing Touch when you need it.
- Keep Mark of the Wild on yourself.
Tip: From level 4, Moonfire and Rejuvenation work over time while you do something else.
Tip: Your bear form comes from a class quest at level 10. It makes leveling much easier.
Your spells up to level 10
You start with your level 1 spells. The rest you learn from your trainer, for a few coins, at levels 4, 6, 8, 10. A few come from class quests instead. From the WoW Forever game client:

Where your Druid trainers are
| Where | Trainer | Spot (click for the map) | Walk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Valanaar | Lotheluum Starbreeze (seen once in Forever, not confirmed) | 64.0, 75.1 | 240 yards, 35 sec |
| Thendal Village | Xyton Silverwind (seen in Forever) | not mapped yet (our guess: near Tai'ree Farsight) | - |
| Shen'dar Village | Naeluna Swiftmend (seen in Forever) | not mapped yet (our guess: near Aarnor Galestrike) | - |
Walks start from where you appear (the first trainer), the middle of the town (town trainers) or the first town (city trainers).
Class quests
| Level | Quest | Starts with |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | The Great Ursera Spirit | Lotheluum Starbreeze (64.0, 75.1) |
| 10 | Strength and Mercy | Urs'endris (69.9, 61.7) |
Your racials as a Druid
- Elemental Insight: More damage to elementals, which are common on Zephras Isle.
- Read Leyline: Rest faster: your health and mana come back twice as fast. Near one of the island's leylines it lasts much longer.
- Skysight: A little more speed, on foot and mounted. Near a convergence of elements it lasts much longer.
- Walk on Air: Glide gently down instead of falling. Jump off a cliff without getting hurt.
- Wind Blessed: A little haste for everything: faster attacks and faster spells.
Professions
For a Druid, the best pair is Leatherworking and Skinning. Leatherworking makes leather armor you can wear, and Skinning takes leather from the beasts you kill anyway.
Tip: Not sure yet? Pick two gathering professions (Herbalism, Mining or Skinning). They make money from the very first herb, vein or beast, and you can swap one for a crafting profession later. Dropping a profession loses its skill, so decide before you've raised it far.
More on this: the best professions for each class.
After level 10
At level 10 you get your first talent point. Our Druid leveling guide takes you on from there, and the leveling guide shows where to go next. Your first dungeon comes a bit later: see your first dungeon.
