Stats explained: what each stat does in WoW Forever
What Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect and Spirit do for each class at each level in WoW Forever, from the game client. Pick your class for every level and a calculator.

The same for every class
- Stamina: 10 health per point after the first 20, for every class.
- Intellect: 15 mana per point after the first 20, for every class with mana.
- Agility: 2 armor per point.
- Attack power: every 14 adds 1 damage per second to your weapon.
- Strength: 1 Block Value per 20 Strength for Warriors, Paladins and Shamans.
- Ratings on gear: 14 crit rating = 1% crit, 10 hit rating = 1% hit, 12 dodge rating = 1% dodge, 15 parry rating = 1% parry, 5 block rating = 1% block, at every level.
- Defense: each point above your level's maximum gives 0.04% more dodge, parry and block and 0.04% less chance to be hit or crit.
- 440 Defense makes you immune to critical hits from raid bosses.
- Hit to never miss a raid boss: 8% melee and ranged, 17% spells, 27% when dual wielding (5%, 4% and 24% against your own level).
- Armor can't reduce damage by more than 75%.
- Health regeneration is a third higher while sitting.
Not in the client
- Base crit chance (what you have with 0 Agility), dodge per Agility, and health and mana regeneration per Spirit: the game client asks the server for these, so they can't be datamined. The page shows them once players measure them in the beta.
- Armor's damage reduction: the calculator uses Classic's formula, labelled Speculation.
From the WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205): crit per Agility, spell crit per Intellect and base mana from its PlayerExpectedStat table, attack power per stat from ChrClasses, and the rest from Forever’s own character sheet code and tooltips. Classic Era's client (1.15.9) has none of these numbers: its ChrClasses attack power columns are 0, it has no crit tables, and its stat tooltips are words without numbers. Classic works them out on the server.
