Send your addon data to ForeverDB

The ForeverDB Companion and the ForeverDB Helper addons record what you see in World of Warcraft: Forever: quests, drops, vendors, dungeon runs, boss kills with the loot seen, and where you found Forever's scrolls. Addons can't use the internet, so the data waits in your WoW folder until you send it. Sent to ForeverDB, it fills in the dungeon pages' drop rates and clear times, the quest guides, the scroll finds and your armory. Sending is optional, and you don't need to install anything.

Three ways to send it

Send the Helper's code

  1. In WoW Forever, open the ForeverDB Helper (the ForeverDB button by the minimap, or type /fdh send) and go to Send to ForeverDB. It's also in the Helper's Settings and on its Runs page.
  2. The code starts with FDBH1. Click it and press Ctrl+C to copy it. A long code comes in parts (Code 1 of 3, and so on): copy them one by one.
  3. Paste it on this page with Ctrl+V, parts in any order. The page reads it in your browser and shows what's in it, such as 4 runs, 12 kills and 1 scroll find.
  4. Log in with Battle.net (every upload needs it, so bad data can be removed) and press Send it to ForeverDB.
  5. Back in the game, press I've sent it, so the Helper's next code only has what's new.

Send from your WoW folder

  1. Log out of the game, or type /reload, so WoW writes the addons' saved files.
  2. Press Choose your WoW folder once and pick _classic_beta_ in your World of Warcraft folder, or its WTF folder (Edge and Chrome).
  3. Press Send my latest data. Every account's ForeverDB.lua and ForeverDB_Helper.lua are read, and only what changed since your last send goes. When you come back to your profile, it tells you if there's new data since then.
  4. Firefox and Safari can't remember a folder: drag the WTF folder (or the two files) onto the box instead, each time. Edge and Chrome also can't open a folder in C:\Program Files (x86), where WoW installs by default: drag the folder there too.

What's sent, and what isn't

From the Helper, only its anonymous share section: numbers and IDs (dungeon, boss, item, quest and creature IDs, times, your level and class), and the notes you chose to share as public tips, which ForeverDB checks before anyone sees them. Never a name, a private note or a goal's title. From the Companion, the same as the Uploader sends: the quests, drops, vendors, trainers, beasts, gathering spots, talent builds and boss fights it recorded, with no names, and only the characters you tick for your armory, private until you make them public. Sending the same data twice does no harm: kills and loot ForeverDB already has count once. See the privacy policy.

(Sending needs JavaScript and a Battle.net login.)
