Import your character from the game
Paste the share code from the ForeverDB Companion addon to see your WoW Forever character on ForeverDB: gear, talents, item level and professions. Blizzard's armory doesn't cover Forever, and addons can't use the internet, so the addon gives you one short line to copy instead.
How to get your code
- In WoW Forever, type
/fdb share, or open the ForeverDB window from the book by your minimap and choose My character. You need the free ForeverDB Companion addon. - The code is already selected: press Ctrl+C to copy it. It starts with
FDB1. - Paste it in the box on this page. Your character shows straight away.
What you can do with it
- See your character: every equipped item with its tooltip, enchants, your average item level, your talents by tree and your professions.
- Sim this character: the DPS simulator with your own gear and talents.
- Compare with best gear: the gear planner with your gear loaded, showing the upgrades for your level and spec.
- Best in slot for your level: the best in slot list for your class, spec and level, with where each item comes from.
- Open in the talent calculator: your talents in the talent calculator, to plan the next points.
- Copy a share link: a link with the code in it, to send to a friend or your guild.
- Save to my armory: signed in with Battle.net, keep the character in your ForeverDB armory, private until you make it public. No app to install.
What the code holds
Your class, race, level, faction, talents, equipped items with their enchants, and professions. Your name and realm only if you tick Include my character's name in the addon (it's off unless you choose it). The page reads the code in your browser: nothing is sent to ForeverDB unless you press Save to my armory. Prefer every character at once? Send from your WoW folder (one click in Edge or Chrome, or drag and drop), or let the optional ForeverDB Uploader do it after every session.
