How much does WoW Forever cost, and what are the editions?
WoW Forever itself is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time; the three editions are optional upgrades on top (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026).
The three upgrade editions
- Skyborne Heroic Pack: access to the new Skyborne race and the Zephras Isle starting experience, Early Name Reservation, a mount, cosmetics, housing decor and one Invite-A-Friend code (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026).
- Skyborne Epic Pack: everything in the Heroic Pack, plus beta access beginning 17 September, 30 days of Game Time starting 4 November, more cosmetics, pets and tabards, and three Invite-A-Friend codes (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026).
- Warcraft Forever Collection (limited time): everything in the Epic Pack, plus Warcraft III: Reforged, the Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign and housing figurine decor (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026).
The physical Collector's Edition
Sold through the Blizzard Gear Store, it has keepsake physical collectibles and a digital code for the Warcraft Forever Collection (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026). On 24 September Blizzard added more English copies in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Orders from that restock are expected to ship and arrive in February 2027, after launch, and the Gear Store limits it to one copy per household (Blizzard, 24 Sep 2026).
Prices
None of the Blizzard posts we track give a price for the editions or the Collector's Edition, so we don't quote one here. Prices vary by region and currency: check the Battle.net shop or the Blizzard Gear Store for yours.
Which one do you need?
To play from launch, a subscription or Game Time is enough. You need the Heroic Pack or higher to play a Skyborne and to reserve names early, and the Epic Pack or the Collection for beta access (Blizzard, 12 Sep 2026). Read about the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle before you decide.
