Xaryu films the beta send-off, where any mob dropped epics and Hogger came in giant phases

· ForeverDB
On the last day of the Forever beta, Blizzard ran a send-off event where low-level mobs dropped epics and escalating world bosses spawned near the starter zones. Xaryu shows it off, stresses it is not the launch build, and says an RP PvP ruleset is confirmed. We check the gear, bosses and spells against the client.
This video is by the community creator Xaryu, not Blizzard, so everything here is what they say or show. We checked each claim against the Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70532) and this site's data, and any numbers we give come from the client.
Xaryu's video covers Blizzard's send-off event on the last day of the Forever beta: low-level mobs around Stormwind dropping epics, and world bosses with escalating phases spawning in the starter zones. Xaryu is clear that none of this is the real game, and also says an RP PvP ruleset is coming.

The short version
- The loot and world bosses were a beta end-of-test event, not the launch build, and Xaryu says so plainly.
- Xaryu says an RP PvP ruleset is confirmed, and Blizzard did confirm on 22 October that a Roleplay-PvP ruleset is coming for launch on 4 November.
- Thunderfury, Sulfuras, a mage blade and the other legendaries and raid epics shown aren't in our data yet, so we can't check their stats.
- The mage spells shown (Arcane Explosion, Cone of Cold, Blizzard and the Cold Snap talent) are all in the client with Forever changes.
- The beta closed at 10:00 a.m. PDT on 23 October, and Blizzard said this one-time celebration almost certainly included items and experiences that won't be in the game after launch.

The end-of-beta event
Xaryu spends most of the video looting epics off ordinary mobs outside Stormwind and piling onto world bosses. They repeat that this is a beta thing and not the real game.
This is not how the game is going to launch. Xaryu, Blizzard Turned WoW Forever into COMPLETE Chaos (6:44)
The bosses escalate through named phases: super, ultra, giga and cosmic Hogger, plus Lord Kazzak, Azuregos and Stitches. The client carries a "World Boss" map legend, but these specific encounters are not in our data, so we cannot check their health, phases or loot. Treat them as event content, not live world bosses.

RP PvP ruleset
On 22 October Blizzard said it will add a Roleplay-PvP ruleset for launch on 4 November, so Xaryu has it right. The client's "(RP PvP)" label is a shared interface string and proves nothing by itself.
RP PvP rule set is confirmed. It is confirmed. Xaryu, Blizzard Turned WoW Forever into COMPLETE Chaos (3:53)
Xaryu also worries that, with faction lock on the PvP realms, an RP PvP realm could become a loophole for playing the other faction. That is a question of how the ruleset will be used, which the client can't answer.
The spells Xaryu casts
Mage
Xaryu plays a mage. See Mage, the Mage changes, the Mage talent calculator and the Frost Mage simulator. Every spell shown is within the level 30 cap.
- Arcane Explosion, from the trainer at level 14. Forever lowers the damage on all six ranks (rank 6 does 232 to 252 instead of 243 to 263) and gives rank 1 a higher spell power coefficient, 0.143 instead of 0.111.
- Cone of Cold is learned at level 26. Rank 1 does 92 to 102 Frost damage and slows by 40%. Forever lowers the damage on all five ranks and shortens the duration to 6 sec instead of 8 sec.
- Blizzard comes at level 20. Rank 1 does 192 Frost damage over 8 sec. The Forever client carries no damage number for the other ranks, so the server works it out and we cannot check the figure Xaryu sees.
- Cold Snap is a Frost talent at level 30. It finishes the cooldown on all your other Frost spells, and Forever moves it from Frost tier 3 to tier 5.
Warrior
The video notes warrior tanks holding the world bosses. See Warrior, the Warrior changes, the Warrior talent calculator and the Arms Warrior simulator.
- Charge comes from the trainer at level 4. It generates 9 Rage and stuns for 1 sec, and cannot be used in combat. The top rank at level 46 generates 15 Rage, so that rank is above the beta cap.
Hunter
The video opens with a joke about being bitten by a dog. These are the Hunter pet abilities that bite, charge and disarm. See Hunter, the Hunter changes, the Hunter talent calculator and the Beast Mastery Hunter simulator.
- Bite and Charge are the standard Hunter pet abilities, both learned at level 1.
- Mine! is new in Forever. At rank 1 the pet grabs an enemy's weapon for 10 to 12 damage and disarms it for 3 sec. Nothing like it exists in Classic Era.
What our data has
Our data has the Duskwood and Westfall zone maps, the Mana Potion, Cauterizing Band, Ring of Spell Power, Lawbringer Boots and Scroll of Endless Speed, the Mage, Warrior and Hunter abilities shown with their Forever changes, and the "(RP PvP)" realm label and "World Boss" map legend.
It doesn't have the legendaries and raid epics the video shows (Thunderfury, Sulfuras, Quel'Serrar, the Azuresong Mageblade, Perdition's Blade, the Fire Runed Grimoire, the Choker of Enlightenment, the Arcanist Belt or Band of Accuria), so we can't check their stats. Nor does it have the event bosses as NPCs (Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, the super, ultra, giga and cosmic Hogger phases, or Stitches), or the drop tables for this event. The beta closed at 10:00 a.m. PDT on 23 October and the event was a one-off, so this gear and these bosses are out of reach.
