Players report Kaja's Small Shot Pouch rising from 1 silver to 10 silver
· ForeverDB
Players using the ForeverDB addon have seen the Small Shot Pouch, an ammo pouch sold by Kaja in Orgrimmar, go from 1 silver to 10 silver in the game (9 silver for players with a reputation discount). Blizzard hasn't posted about it.
Player reports, not confirmed by Blizzard. The price below is what players' ForeverDB addons saw in the game, not datamined client data and not a Blizzard post.
The Small Shot Pouch is an ammo pouch in the Forever beta client. Players using the ForeverDB Companion addon have reported that its price at one Orgrimmar vendor has changed in the game, which points to a server hotfix rather than a new build.
What's in the client
- Small Shot Pouch (item id 5441) is a common ammo pouch: 8 slots, usable from level 1, and it Haste (increases ranged attack speed by 10%) while equipped. It sells back to a vendor for 25 copper.
- It is stocked by Kaja, the Guns and Ammo Merchant (NPC 3322), who stands in Orgrimmar, and by a number of other guns-and-ammo and bow vendors across both factions.
What players saw in the game
Between 11 and 14 October, two players' ForeverDB addons (both signed in to an account) recorded Kaja selling the Small Shot Pouch, across five uploads. They saw the buy price at 9 silver where it had been 1 silver before. Six other vendors show 10 silver, and our vendor data now gives Kaja's price as 10 silver, so 9 silver looks like 10 silver less a 10% reputation discount: a tenfold rise, from 100 copper to 1,000 copper, on a low-level pouch.
Speculation. The pouch gives +10% ranged attack speed from level 1, which is a strong effect for a one-silver item, so the new price may be a correction that brings its cost in line with what it does. The reason isn't stated anywhere we track.
What we don't know
- Blizzard hasn't mentioned this in any post we follow, so we can't say when it changed or whether it is intended.
- Whether every vendor that stocks the pouch has gone up. Players have reported the same rise from 1 silver at eight more vendors: to 10 silver at Hegnar Rumbleshot, Bretta Goldfury, Thalgus Thunderfist, Nicholas Atwood, Starn and Jyn Stonehoof, and to 9 silver at Nordun Steadysight and Uthrok.
- Whether the change sticks through the next beta build (Speculation).
We'll update this page if a Blizzard post or a new build settles it. More in-game sightings are gathered through the ForeverDB Companion addon.
