Badges
Badges are ForeverDB's thanks for helping: reporting mistakes, sharing tips, answering questions and sending game data. They show next to your name on tips, answers and the corrections log, and on your player page. Nothing on the site needs one.
Realm first
First on their realm to reach a level or kill a boss in the launch race.
Comes with the launch race and leaderboards on 4 November 2026: the first character on a realm to reach each level, or to kill a boss, from verified uploads. Shown for the character that did it.
Coming soon: this badge is given once the feature behind it is live.
Top 10
One of the first ten on their realm in the launch race.
Comes with the launch race on 4 November 2026: a top ten place on a realm's level or boss race, from verified uploads.
Coming soon: this badge is given once the feature behind it is live.
Top reporter of the month
Sent the most corrections ForeverDB confirmed or fixed in a month.
The player at the top of the monthly Top reporters board on the corrections log when the month ends. Each month won is listed on the badge.
Contributor
Reached a contributor level by helping ForeverDB: game data, corrections, tips and answers.
Everything you do for ForeverDB earns XP: new quests, drops, vendors, trainers, rares and gathering spots from your uploads, hidden items you help reveal, and corrections, tips, answers and guild events. Every 10 levels, up to 60, gives this badge a new title. See Contributor levels below.
- Scout: Level 10
- Pathfinder: Level 20
- Loremaster's Apprentice: Level 30
- Cartographer: Level 40
- Archivist: Level 50
- Chronicler of Azeroth: Level 60
Corrector
Found mistakes on ForeverDB that we confirmed or fixed.
Spot something wrong? Add a correction at the bottom of the page. When ForeverDB confirms it, it counts (2 points; 3 once it's fixed). Your first one makes you a Corrector, 5 a Bug hunter, 25 a Lorekeeper. Your corrections and what we changed are on the corrections log.
- First report: 1 correction
- Bug hunter: 5 corrections
- Lorekeeper: 25 corrections
Tipster
Wrote tips that ForeverDB confirmed or players voted up.
Post a tip on an item, quest, dungeon or class page. A tip counts when ForeverDB confirms it (2 points) or when its votes reach more than 5 up after the downs (1 point).
- Tipster: 1 tip
- Seasoned tipster: 10 tips
- Master tipster: 50 tips
Answerer
Answered other players' questions, and the answers were accepted.
Answer a question under Tips & questions. It counts when the player who asked accepts your answer (your own questions don't count).
- Answerer: 1 accepted answer
- Trusted answerer: 10 accepted answers
- Sage: 50 accepted answers
Data contributor
Sent game data from the Companion addon that ForeverDB accepted.
Play with the free ForeverDB Companion addon and send its data with the Uploader while logged in. Every upload we accept counts: it's how quests, drops, vendors and rares get on the site.
- Mapper: 1 accepted upload
- Surveyor: 25 accepted uploads
- Archivist of Lands: 250 accepted uploads
Raider
Came to 90% or more of their guild's raids over 12 weeks.
Comes with the guild tools' member stats: attendance of 90% or more over 12 weeks, from the guild's calendar and kills. Shown only to the guild unless the raider makes attendance public.
Coming soon: this badge is given once the feature behind it is live.
Founder
Joined ForeverDB before WoW Forever launched.
Every account made before 4 November 2026, the day WoW Forever launches. Thank you for being here early.
Contributor levels
Everything you do for ForeverDB earns XP, and XP gives you a level from 1 to 60, like a character. Early levels come quickly; later ones take longer. Your level shows next to your name on tips, answers and the corrections log, and on your player page, with the same choice of who sees it as your badges.
What earns XP
- A quest we didn't have: 15 XP
- Where a quest objective is done, first seen: 3 XP
- A drop we didn't have (an item from a creature, object, skin or scroll find): 4 XP
- An item on a vendor's list: 2 XP
- A trainer: 10 XP
- A rare creature seen on a map: 20 XP
- A herb, vein, chest or fishing pool on a map: 3 XP
- A flight's time (once the Companion records flights): 8 XP
- Confirming a fact one other player sent (the second, independent source): 1 XP
- A hidden item you sent with the Uploader, once it's verified: 25 XP
- A correction ForeverDB confirmed: 40 XP
- A correction ForeverDB fixed: 60 XP
- A tip ForeverDB confirmed: 30 XP
- A tip players voted above 5: 15 XP
- An answer the asker accepted: 20 XP
- A guild event you organised that took place, with at least 2 other players signed up: 15 XP
Uploads earn XP for what they add, not for being sent: data we already have, or that two players already sent, earns nothing. Upload XP is capped at 600 a day. Past the cap the rest waits, and your next upload on another day credits it. An upload ForeverDB sets aside loses its XP, and so does a correction that's reopened.
Sending anonymously? The XP waits for that PC or browser. Make a free account and log in there, and it moves to you.
