Tips
- You need a Skinning Knife in your bags (sold by trade supplies and leatherworking vendors).
- You can skin any beast that's been looted, including other players' kills. Skinning the beasts you kill while questing levels it with no extra travel.
- From skill 100, the highest level beast you can skin is your skill divided by 5. Below that it's 10 levels for every 100 skill (Classic's rule).
- Skinning pairs with Leatherworking, which uses leather and hides. Leather also sells well at the auction house.
- Your character level limits your rank: level 10 for Journeyman, 20 for Expert and 35 for Artisan (Classic's levels).
Spawn points, beast levels, fishing skill and the gathering colours are Classic's data and rules until players' addons see Forever's; recipes are the Forever client's.
