Tips
- You need a Fishing Pole (sold by fishing suppliers) equipped. Cast into water and click the bobber when it splashes.
- Fishing lures add to your skill for 10 minutes: use one when a zone's fish keep getting away.
- Fishing pools (schools of fish) give more and better catches: cast into the swirl.
- Fishing pairs with Cooking: most fish are cooked into food that restores health and gives buffs.
- Unlike the other professions, Fishing has no character level limit for its ranks in Classic, but you still need its trainer.
Spawn points, beast levels, fishing skill and the gathering colours are Classic's data and rules until players' addons see Forever's; recipes are the Forever client's.
