Linen Cloth is a common cloth that drops from humanoid enemies. It is the first tailoring and first-aid cloth, so you want plenty of it early on.

It is a world drop from low-level humanoids across the starting zones and early quest areas, and it also turns up in chests and other containers. You can buy it from other players on the auction house too. Every creature known to drop it is listed on the item page (https://foreverdb.net/item/2589).
