First Aid leveling guide 1-300
The cheapest way from 1 to 300 in WoW Forever, with the game client's own recipes and skill colours: 8 steps and about 444 crafts. Each step says what to make, how many, what to buy and where to learn it. Enable JavaScript to switch to Horde, start from your own skill and get the shopping list for the rest of the way.
Level cap: Artisan First Aid needs character level 35, and the beta's cap is 30, so for now you can reach skill 225.
The route (Alliance)
- 1-41: Linen Bandage. Make about 42 (40-45); orange to 30, grey at 60. Each needs 1 Linen Cloth. Learn it (learned automatically). Buy or gather: 42 Linen Cloth.
- Train Journeyman First Aid before skill 75: from skill 50 and level 10, 5s. Classic data.
- 41-80: Heavy Linen Bandage. Make about 54 (47-61); orange to 50, grey at 100. Each needs 2 Linen Cloth. Learn it (from a trainer for 1s such as Dannelor (Darnassus) (Classic data)). Buy or gather: 108 Linen Cloth.
- 80-115: Wool Bandage. Make about 48 (42-54); orange to 80, grey at 150. Each needs 1 Wool Cloth. Learn it (from a trainer for 2s 50c such as Dannelor (Darnassus) (Classic data)). Buy or gather: 48 Wool Cloth.
- 115-150: Heavy Wool Bandage. Make about 48 (42-54); orange to 115, grey at 185. Each needs 2 Wool Cloth. Learn it (from a trainer for 10s such as Dannelor (Darnassus) (Classic data)). Buy or gather: 96 Wool Cloth.
- Train Expert First Aid before skill 150: from skill 125 and level 20. Classic data.
- 150-180: Silk Bandage. Make about 41 (35-47); orange to 150, grey at 210. Each needs 1 Silk Cloth. Learn it (from a trainer for 50s such as Dannelor (Darnassus) (Classic data)). Buy or gather: 41 Silk Cloth.
- 180-210: Heavy Silk Bandage. Make about 41 (35-47); orange to 180, grey at 240. Each needs 2 Silk Cloth. Learn it (the recipe is sold by Deneb Walker (Arathi Highlands)). Buy or gather: 82 Silk Cloth.
- Train Artisan First Aid before skill 225: from skill 200 and level 35 (needs level 35: the beta cap is 30). Classic data.
- 210-260: Mageweave Bandage. Make about 105 (87-123); orange to 210, grey at 270. Each needs 1 Mageweave Cloth. Learn it (the recipe is sold by Deneb Walker (Arathi Highlands)). Buy or gather: 105 Mageweave Cloth.
- 260-300: Runecloth Bandage. Make about 65 (55-75); orange to 260, grey at 320. Each needs 1 Runecloth. Learn it (from a trainer for 12g 50s such as Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen (Dustwallow Marsh) (Classic data)). Buy or gather: 65 Runecloth.
The Horde route is the same; only the trainers and vendors differ.

How this guide is worked out
- Skill colours are the Forever client's (yellow and grey; green halfway between).
- An orange recipe always gives a point; from yellow to grey the chance is (grey - skill) / (grey - yellow): the standard Classic formula, our assumption for Forever.
- Forever has no auction house data, so nothing is priced from it: vendor materials count at the vendor's price, gathered and looted ones at 5 times what a vendor pays for them (or by item level), rarer herbs and ores more.
- Only recipes you can learn somewhere known count; trainers, recipe vendors and quests are Classic data (CMaNGOS classic-db) until players see them in Forever.
