· ForeverDB
Blizzard has published an overview of the nine new five-player dungeons in WoW Forever, from the Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge to the Shaper's Terrace in the northern hills of Un'Goro Crater, with level ranges from 13 to 60 across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
On October 20 Blizzard posted a dungeon overview for WoW Forever. It lists nine new five-player dungeons, each with a level range and a location, spread across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.
World of Warcraft: Forever introduces nine new five-player dungeons for adventurers from level 13 through level 60. Rooted in the original World of Warcraft, each dungeon brings new threats, quests, and adventures to the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Blizzard Entertainment, Blizzard News
These are beta dungeons. The level cap on the beta is 30 for now, so the higher-level dungeons below aren't open to test yet, and anything here can still change before launch.
Eastern Kingdoms
- Hall of Thanes, levels 13 to 18. Beneath Ironforge in Dun Morogh. Alliance can reach it from their capital; Horde have to travel into Alliance territory. It's the resting place of the dwarven monarchs, now broken into by intruders Blizzard says are suspected Dark Iron dwarves.
- Ruins of Lordaeron, levels 15 to 20. The ruined city above the Undercity in Tirisfal Glades. Horde can reach it from the Undercity; Alliance have to venture into Horde territory. The Forsaken are reclaiming the ruins, and a necromancer is said to be gathering power there.
- Excavation Site, levels 24 to 29. Near Thelgen Rock and Dun Algaz in the Wetlands, above Whelgar's Excavation. A place frozen in time, guarded by errant titan constructs and dangerous wildlife.
- City of Dalaran, levels 28 to 33. In the Alterac Mountains. It needs an attunement questline: Alliance begin with "An Alarming Request" from Emissary Jacques in Southshore; Horde begin with "Key to the City" and "Prison Break-In" from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill. Once you have the Kirin Tor's trust you enter through the sewers, choosing among multiple paths on the way in.
- The Drowned City, levels 35 to 40. Off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale, west of Grom'gol. Risen troll ruins now roamed by trolls and naga; you dive to find the entrance, and the open-air dungeon builds from mist and rain into a full storm before the final fight.
- Krol'dok Stronghold, levels 40 to 45. In the Riverglades. Ogre outrunners have been kidnapping travellers and raiding communities; the fortress holds workshops, encampments and guarded passages, with strange chanting heard after nightfall.
Kalimdor
- Alcaz Prison, levels 48 to 53. Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh. Its doors finally open to find the Defias Brotherhood and naga in conflict. Blizzard mentions the long rumour that King Varian Wrynn was held here.
- Blackmaw Hold, levels 55 to 60. In Azshara, beyond a long-sealed gate. A furbolg city fighting a spreading corruption, built as a max-level dungeon with multiple routes and bosses, and a path that may lead farther below Azeroth.
- Shaper's Terrace, levels 58 to 60. The northern hills of Un'Goro Crater. An ancient titan facility with dinosaurs, tar pits and crystals; you bring power crystals gathered in Un'Goro and use them at consoles inside.
Some of this is already in the files
The game files carry gear tied to a couple of these places, which fits the overview. The Krol'dok Battlegear armour set and the Lordaeron Forever Tabard Lordaeron Forever Tabard are both in the client data. The client also has four of the dungeons themselves, the Hall of Thanes, the Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site: Wetlands and the City of Dalaran, and players have run them on the beta, the City of Dalaran since Blizzard opened it for testing on 8 October; Blizzard's post is the source for the layouts and level ranges above.
The full overview, including each dungeon's story, is on the Blizzard forums.
