Alterac Valley

Epic battleground, 40 v 40, levels 51-60.

Hidden within the Alterac Mountains, Alterac Valley is the home of Thrall's own clan of orcs, the Frostwolves. The Stormpike dwarves have established a foothold in the valley and seek to plumb its depths for riches, and links to their ancestral past. The territorial Frostwolves, unwilling to suffer the dwarven incursion, have rallied an army... an army eager for righteous slaughter.

How to win

Kill the enemy general

• 40 against 40 in the Alterac Mountains: push down the valley, take graveyards and burn towers on the way.
• Towers and graveyards are assaulted at their flag and fall a few minutes later unless retaken.
• Kill the enemy general (Vanndar Stormpike in Dun Baldar or Drek'Thar in Frostwolf Keep) to win.

Speculation: Classic's rules. Forever hasn't announced changes, so they may differ.
