A valley that has sat hidden in the mountains between Desolace, Feralas and Mulgore since the beginning. Forever opens it, and the story inside leads back to Eldre'Thalas, the Highborne city whose ruins are Dire Maul.

What it is
Shen'dralas fills a blank spot in the mountains of central Kalimdor. Blizzard describes it as a long-hidden mystery connected to the elves of Eldre'Thalas and the centaur of the region, reached from Desolace through the Valley of Bones.
In Shen'dralas, a long-hidden mystery between Mulgore and Desolace becomes a new adventure tied to the Shen’dralar, Eldre’Thalas, Dire Maul, and the centaur tribes of the region.

Warcraft background: Eldre'Thalas was a Highborne city in Feralas. After the War of the Ancients some Highborne kept practising arcane magic there, and it fell into ruin; its remains are the dungeon Dire Maul. Inside, a few survivors called the Shen'dralar still guard its library and its secrets, and a demon they bound long ago.
What the client's map shows
The client's map of Shen'dralas has a round, walled building at its heart labelled Shen'dralas, with a pool and a long stair leading north. Around it the client names the Valley of Bones in the north-west (a Desolace name), Evenshade's Overlook, the Outcast Hideaway, the Magram Front, Bristleback Retreat in the north and the Forlorn Gardens in the south-east.
Speculation: The names hint at the story: "Magram Front" points to the Magram centaur of Desolace, "Outcast Hideaway" to the client's hidden faction "Gelkis Outcasts", and "Bristleback" to the quilboar. The name Shen'dralas echoes both the Shen'dralar of Dire Maul and the Skyborne's shen'dorei. Blizzard hasn't said how any of these connect; this is our reading.
