WoW Forever server status

The WoW Forever beta has ended, and the live servers open on 4 November 2026. ForeverDB checks Blizzard's login servers for the live game every minute, and after launch the live realm's game servers too. This page shows whether they're up right now, how they have done over the last day, week and month, and what Blizzard has posted about maintenance and problems.

The live servers open on Wednesday 4 November 2026 The beta has ended and its servers are closed. WoW Forever goes live on that day; until then there is nothing to log in to.

Until then we check Blizzard's login servers for the live game. They answer for every Blizzard game, so "up" below doesn't mean Forever's realms are open.

Americas login server: Answering

Europe login server: Answering

Korea login server: Answering

What this check can and can't see

Once a minute our server opens a plain connection to Blizzard's login servers for the live game, one per region (us.actual.battle.net for the Americas, eu.actual.battle.net for Europe and kr.actual.battle.net for Korea and Taiwan, port 1119), and closes it again: no login and no data, just whether it answers and how fast. If it doesn't answer, nobody can log in. These servers answer for every Blizzard game, so until WoW Forever goes live on 4 November 2026 an "up" here doesn't mean Forever's realms are open.

The login server can stay up while the realm restarts, so once the live realms are open we also check their game servers (the addresses the game itself connects to) the same way, side by side. They count as up while any of them answers and as down when none does, and the big box at the top shows whichever check is down. During the beta we checked the beta's login server and its realm's four game servers; the beta ended on 24 October 2026, and those checks have stopped.

A server can still answer while the realm is full or not sending your characters: on the night of 1 October the login server answered while testers' character lists never arrived (Blizzard, 2 Oct 2026). If you're stuck after logging in, the beta errors page reads your game's own log and tells you where it stopped.

Our check runs from one place on the Internet, so a problem between you and Blizzard (your Internet provider, Wi-Fi, a VPN) won't show here. That's what the reports from players are for: when many players report a problem at once, the ForeverDB team is alerted.

Questions and answers

Is WoW Forever down right now?

The beta has ended, and the live servers open on 4 November 2026. From then on this page checks Blizzard's login servers and the live realm's game servers every minute and shows whether they're up right now, with Blizzard's latest maintenance and known-issue posts.

Why can't I log in when the status says up?

The checks only see whether the servers answer. The realm can still be full or not sending your character list; the beta errors page reads your game's log to show where your login stopped.
