Best in slot gear for Subtlety Rogue at level 30 (PvE)

The best item for each slot for a level 30 Subtlety Rogue in PvE, with the next two picks and how far behind they are, where each comes from, how easy it is, and the best enchant, armor kit or arcanum for it. Change the level (1 to 60) and switch PvE, Leveling or PvP on the page; source filters leave out crafted items, quest rewards, dungeon drops, raid drops, world drops, vendor items or PvP rewards, or keep only items players have seen in Forever.

• Head: Brawler's Leather Helm, score 13.2: +10 Agility, +13 Stamina. Crafted: Leatherworking 130 (Forever client). Learn it at skill 130. Easy: craft it or buy it from a crafter. Next best: Brawler's Leather Hood (−20% vs best), Defender's Leather Helm (−25% vs best). No enchant for this slot adds these stats until level 45.
• Neck: Mark of the Marsh, score 10.8: +8 Agility, +5 Strength. Drops from Blackfathom Deeps (Clue, unconfirmed). Some effort: a dungeon drop, chance not known yet. Next best: Ghostshard Talisman (−7% vs best), Sentinel's Medallion (−15% vs best). No enchant for this slot adds these stats until level 40.
• Shoulder: Forest Tracker Epaulets, score 13.8: +11 Agility, +5 Strength. World drop (Classic data). Hard: random luck. Next best: Mantle of Thieves (−20% vs best), Unstable Crystalline Shoulderpads (−24% vs best). No enchant for this slot adds these stats until level 55.

Stat weights (PvE)

weapon DPS 3, hit 1.2, Agility 1, expertise 0.9, crit 0.8, haste 0.7, Strength 0.55, attack power 0.55, Stamina 0.25.

Every item is scored with the spec's stat weights, for what the class can wear at that level (armour and weapon skills come from the Forever client, so Hunters and Shamans get mail at 40 and Warriors and Paladins plate at 40). Untouched Season of Discovery leftovers are left out.
